RESOURCES

Christians need to have Biblically accurate and doctrinely sound resources to help in their daily walk. This is not to replace the Bible but to help you as you study it and to keep His promises in your heart.

  • YouVersion – Through this app you have the Bible at your fingertips. You can even download a version to your phone so it is always available. Pick from thousands of Bible reading plans as well as devotions. Take notes, highlight verses, and connect and share with friends through this app.

COMMENTARIES

  • Matthew Henry – When I told an older man at church how much I enjoyed reading Matthew Henry’s commentary, he laughed and replied, “He’ll read you to death.” It’s true. He’s wordy, but he gives a lot of detail. I have a hardback book, but before I bought it, I used the free online version.
  • Warren Wiersbe – Several pastor friends had recommended this set, and I have so enjoyed adding it to my resources. There are six volumes for the whole expository set. If you like alliteration, you’ll love Warren Wiersbe’s commentaries!

More info to come as I find resources I love and want to share! 😊
